This project redefined the conceptual rules of this series, I chose to portray the opposite of what I did before - electricity, movement, colors. This turned out to be a fun challenge in the technical sense, the layering of the colors across the whole surface, while avoiding specific areas was something new for me. the composition, inspired by the views I saw walking my dog in the evening. In the end, I realised my goal of peace and spacious environments was better portrayed through monochromatic, lifeless landscapes. This project became out of place, but necessary.
This one is a bit different, its the opposite of what the other settlements in this series are, I wanted to create the bustling "city" look, i got the idea from soviet apartment blocks during night time, the patterns of lights from different apartments seemed interesting to me.
Drawn using polychromos/arteza pencils and noodlers bulletproof ink, ensuring the longevity of the piece. 39×90cm
The various references are turnt up to 11, from a bunch of writing naming artists, writers, cars, places adds to the patterns of the work. This project introduced my own alphabet, i made it to further the idea of adding "lyrics" to visual arts, information without the need to read anything.
This project redefined the conceptual rules of this series, in the end i realized most of what i did didn't lead to my goal, which is why there was a 0B3,5 in the works, I did it digitally and sadly during a BIOS update my computer got wiped, so the only remaining image of this project is from when I had just started.
